XAT is usually scheduled at first Sunday of January every year and is considered to as the one of the important management entrance tests.
XAT REGITRATIONS STEP BY STEP GUIDANCE (From XAT office);
STEP 1--> DEMAND DRAFT- FOR PURCHASING APPLICATION BULLETIEN YOU HAVE to make a demand draft drawn in favour of "XLRI Jamshedpur A/c XAT" for Rs. 850/- (Rupees Eight Hundred Fifty Only) payable at Jamshedpur.
STEP 2--> Open the website www.xlri.ac.in click "XAT Registration" Fill Online XAT form. You have to give the following information.
(1)Demand draft number.
(2)Date of draft drawn.
(3)Personal information.
4)Educational details.
(5)Work experience.
STEP 3--> Select the XAT Participating Institutes (you can apply afterward for admission to these Institutes.)
STEP 4--> After Submission of the form ,You Will Get XAT ID and Password.Keep it with you for further Communication relating to xat exam.
STEP 5--> Now You have to download the XAT pp form.Fill the xat pp form completely.
STEP 6--> Sending the Form After completing the form. The candidate has to enclose the demand draft along with the XAT PP Form and send it by registered post/speed post/courier to XAT Office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001 Mention your XAT ID and your name on the reverse of the DD.
STEP 7-->THE XAT office, XLRI Jamshedpur will send the XAT Bulletin after receiving the XAT PP Form & DD for Rs 850/.

STEP 1--> First Register YOURSELF for XAT 2010 at www.xlri.ac.in click XAT REGISTRATION .Then Fill the form online give all the required details accurately .go through the details once again.
STEP 2--> Select the XAT participating institutes( you can apply afterward for admission to these Institutes).
STEP 3--> After submission of the form, YOU WILL GET XAT ID and Password. Keep it with you for further communication relating to xat exam.
STEP 4--> Now you have to download the XAT Pay-in-slip.the pay in slip contain
(1) date of registration .
(2) Axis Bank branch name .
(3) XAT Pay-in-slip No .
(4) XAT ID no .
(5) Name of the candidate .
(6) Address and phone number .
The slip is in three parts you have to take all these parts when going to axis bank.
Then go to axis bank branch(which you have filled in the online form )along with downloaded Xat pay in slip to buy XAT bulletin. On the payment of RS .800 Eight hunderd only.
STEP 5--> Go through the XAT Bulletin completly.then fill-in the detachable form after filling the from attach pay in slip (xlri’s copy) and retain the candidate copy with you For further refrence. Sent the for to the xat Office, Jamshedpur through registered post/courier/speed post in the special envelop. The address is XAT Office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001.
STEP 6--> Now Next Step is to Download Admit Card from the website www.xlri.ac.in .
Eligibility Criteria;
A candidate with a Bachelors Degree under 10+2+3 system recognized by a university or a deemed university with a minimum of 50% for general category and 45% for OBC/ST/SC/Physically Handicapped candidates.. A candidate in the final year and seeking admission to XLRI can also apply provided they complete their final year examination by June.
For BM and PM&IR programmes : Graduates who have completed three years of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by a University or Deemed University are eligible to apply. Those completing their final examination by June 10,2008 may also apply.
For GMP : Minimum 5 years of relevant experience after graduation (10+2+3) as on March is required.
