Admission to B.Tech. Programs is open to a student who passed / appeared Intermediate / Higher Secondary (10+2) from any approved Board with minimum 50% marks in PCM/ PCB.
Admission Procedure:
Admission in B.Tech Courses is Through AIEEE.

Admission Procedure;
A)For Agriculture & Information Technology, Bio-informatics, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering programs;
50% of seats shall be allotted through AIEEE rank merit.
50% seats are open for non AIEEE candidates with Biology / Biotechnology with Physics at 10+2 level and shall be filled up directly on the basis of 10+2 score merit.
B)For Avionics, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Information & Communication Technology, Information Technology, Mechatronics Engineering program;
50% seats shall be allotted through AIEEE Central Counseling.
25% seats shall be allotted through AIEEErank merit.
25% seats are open for non AIEEE candidates and shall be filled directly on the basis of 10+2 merit.

Our students also have an opportunity to study under progression agreements abroad.
The students doing B.Tech. from Shobhit University may join University of Westminster, London, United Kingdom after successful completion of B.Tech. 2nd year under Student Exchange program.
B.Tech.(Lateral Entry)(Three Years Full Time)
Shobhit University offers limited number of admissions to Engineering Diploma / B.Sc. Degree holders / those who have completed their first year of B.Tech./BE from a University/AICTE approved institution, into Second Year (IIIrd Semester) of B.Tech. program under Lateral Entry Scheme.

Admission of Diploma Holders :
Although engineering diploma programs are conceived as terminal in nature, some flexibility has to be built in to enable the meritorious amongst diploma holders to obtain Engineering degrees. There are instance of diploma holders pursing an Engineering program and performing better not only in academic careers but also in the jobs.
A student who has acquired a diploma in Engineering through a minimum of three years of institutional study, after 10+(Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination) will be considered to be academically equivalent to a student who has passed the first year of the four year Engineering degree program for which the qualifying examination is of the 12+ level.
For being eligible to seek lateral entry to an Engineering Degree program at the second year/ third semester level, a candidate must have passed the diploma in Engineering in the relevant branch with a minimum of 60 percent marks in the aggregate. Only candidates fulfilling these conditions would be eligible for selection of diploma holders for Lateral entry to degree programs.
Admission of B. Sc. Graduates :
Science education in the country suffers primarily due to lack of employment opportunities after completion of degree courses. This trend has affected the science education in the country as only few students opt to go for the science stream. In order to provide science students avenues for employment opportunities after completion of graduation, science graduates are permitted to join Engineering courses in the second year along with the diploma holders through lateral entry.
For being eligible to seek lateral entry to an Engineering Degree program at second year/ third semester level,a candidate must have passed the Degree in Science (B.Sc.,), with Mathematics as a subject and with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. Only candidates fulfilling these conditions would be eligible for selection of B.Sc. graduates for Lateral entry to an Engineering Degree program.
Admission of Migration Candidates :
The University Equivalence Committee shall examine the courses studied by a candidate in the 1st year of B.Tech/BE program. If the equivalence is more than 75% as established by the Equivalence Committee, the candidate can be permitted to seek admission in the 2nd year of the B.Tech. program, provided that candidate fulfills the eligibility requirements of Shobhit University and submits “No Objection and Character Certificate” from the previous University/Institution from where student has passed 1st year of the program.
