Think twice before you choose the medical profession
If you are not convinced, it is prudent to keep your options open. Medicine is not for everyone. Choosing to pursue a career in medicine for prestige or financial rewards will likely be disappointing, as most physicians find that medicine is a vocation that requires a commitment to service, lifelong learning and the dedication to practice competently and compassionately. The decision whether or not to stay on a pre-medical track can usually be deferred through the first two years of college without loss of credit when changing majors. This will give you time to gather as much information as possible about what medicine has to offer.
On the other hand, if you are quite confident about pursuing the medical profession, you have to meticulously choose a best medical degree from an accredited institute. In a conservative set up like the Indian society where doctors get the highest respect, it is essential to be more responsible and more responsibility can come with more knowledge which in turn can be procured from the best medical colleges. Thereupon, a medical degree like MBBS from a reputed medical college will be absolutely sufficing for your career.
