Research Programmes (Regular & Part-time):

M.Phil. in 10 Subjects :
1. M.Phil in Sahitya
2. M.Phil in Vyakarana
3. M.Phil in Jyotisha[Phalitha & Siddhanta]
4. M.Phil in Nyaya
5. M.Phil in Advaita Vedanta
6. M.Phil in Visistadvaita Vedanta
7. M.Phil in Dvaita Vedanta
8. M.Phil in Agama
9. M.Phil in Sanskrit, Manuscriptology & Palaeography
10.M.Phil in Education*

Duration : One year

Eligibility(1-9 Courses): Any Acharya or equivalent examination with at least 55% marks.

*Eligibility to M.Phil. Education : Siksha Acharya /M.Ed. with atleast 55% of marks and Acharya / M.A.(Skt.)/any equiv. Admission on merit in qualifying examination only.




11. VIDYAVARIDHI (Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.d))(Eq.to Ph.D):

Eligibility : Any Acharya or equivalent examination with at least 55% marks and passing Entrance test. Candidates who have passed NET/ SLET/ M.Phil., are exempted from appearing the entrance test and they may apply directly for the course


12. VIDYA VACHASPATI (D.Litt.):in all Sastra and in Education;

Selection Procedure: in all Sastras/Sahitya/Education. Entrance Test will be conducted

Note:Scholarships will be awarded to the eligible students studying full time traditional courses only as per rules.

Hostels: Limited Hostel facility is available for boys and girls separately. No Hostel facility for Diploma/Certificate course students.
