Eligibility & Age;
*General category Candidates must have First Class PG Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences.(or) above throughout and a valid Research Fellowship from UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DBT/DST-INSPIRE and should be less than 28 years of age
*SC/ST candidates with a valid fellowship need to have only 50% marks, will be eligible for age relaxation as per rules, and are exempt from processing fees.

Post-doctoral Training Programmes;
Disease Biology and Plant Biotechnology
Duration: The post-doctoral training is permitted for duration of three years on contract.
Eligibility:
Candidates with a PhD degree or MD degree are eligible to apply
Applicants should be below the age of 32 years (may be relaxed in exceptional cases)


Fellowship:
RGCB funded post-doctoral programme: The selection committee, based on the applicant’s track record and years of experience, will recommend the stipend amount

(ii) Externally funded post-doctoral programme: As per the guidelines issued by the funding agency




Specialized Training Programmes;
DNA Fingerprinting and Barcoding TRAINING Programme
Eligibility;Minimum a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in any area of biological sciences.
